Wood-Snodgrass, Inc. follows the Code of Ethics of The Association of Executive Search Consultants which requires that “…retained executive search consultants conduct their activities with….Equal Opportunity of Employment and respect for the public interest.

      Our firm recommends and encourages its clients to:

  •  Make diversity a core value of the organization, and obtain personal commitment to its fulfillment from all levels, beginning with the top.
  •  Have a Formal Diversity Strategy in place with specific goals and objectives
  •  Ensure all levels of management receive diversity training.
  • Incorporate non-traditional methods of recruiting in order to obtain a diverse applicant base, e.g.: Use minority newspapers, make personal contact with diverse associations, meet and stay in contact with university leaders, etc.
  •  Consider competency-based credentials, not just past experience, in evaluating candidates.
  •  Continually work to have a positive image re: diverse employees

         Wood-Snodgrass’ Policies and Procedures:

  • We understand and have experience in non-traditional recruiting methods.
  • We can assist in designing a long term Diversity Recruiting Strategy including recruiting at universities that are predominately minority attended.
  •  We can assist in identifying and partnering with those groups catering to minority interests.
